Gurtej Varn is a Wealth Advisor, founder of White Coat Financial, and the host of the podcast, The Dollars & Doctors Show. 

 

After completing his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of British Columbia, Gurtej obtained multiple designations in the financial sector. He is a registered mortgage broker, insurance broker, investment advisor, and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. 

 

In 2022, he earned a spot on the Wealth Professional Canada Rising Stars List, honoring the brightest young talents under 40 in the Canadian wealth management industry. A year later, he was crowned the Wealth Professional Canada Young Achiever of the Year for 2023, an accolade that singles out the top advisor in Canada under the age of 40. 

 

His professional journey began at TD Canada Trust, where he quickly rose from the rank of Teller to become the youngest Investment Specialist in the company's history. His tenure at Scotiabank further sharpened his prowess of working with Medical Professionals before he launched his own practice. 

 

Gurtej's expertise has been showcased in Oral Health Group Magazine, South Asian Health Magazine, & The Medical Post as a contributing writer. He has also been invited as a keynote speaker at dental & medical conferences throughout Canada. Moreover, he recently became an approved guest speaker at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry.  

 

Today, Gurtej spearheads White Coat Financial, a private wealth advisory firm specializing in working with Dental & Medical Specialists across Canada.
